Herman Miller

Simone Haag was commissioned by ad agency Paper Stone Scissors to source and style the lifestyle images for Herman Miller’s latest design - The Carafe Table. The shoot involved showcasing the various ways this table could beutilised within a domestic environment - naturally, for working, but also for dining, socialising and making. For the ‘making’ component, the idea of modern millinery was utilised. For dining, the nature of family interactions around the piece, for socialising, wine and cheese with friends and of course for working - but not in the way we know it.

Our client was very impressed with Simone’s interpretation of the Herman Miller brand and her propping exceeded our brief and expectations. The results were a suite of images that showcase one table in a series of scenarios - all with a sense of homeliness but also harnessing that aspirational element we wanted to evoke from the campaign
