With over a decade of experience within the Interior Design Industry, Simone has developed a design signature that is truly unique. She has been nominated as one of BELLE Magazine’s Emerging Design Star and it is not hard to see why. Unfazed by trends, she simply creates warm, layered spaces that reflect the personalities of her clients.

Simone has forged a path as an aesthete, an influencer and a spokesperson for the Melbourne design community. Her work is regularly featured in publications such as Belle, Vogue Living, Real Living & Elle Decoration as well as blogs such as Est. and The Design Files. The studio’s projects have been nominated in the Australian Interior Design Awards and more recently the IDEA Awards, in which Simone has recently sat as a jury member.

Simone takes annual buying trips to New York and Stockholm and brings a collection of found pieces from LA to Melbourne. She is known for her warmth, humour and dedication to creating beautiful spaces for her clients.

LEAD DESIGNER

Cara’s journey working with textiles and interiors across Australia, New Zealand and the USA has given her a dynamic blend of local and global design insights. She loves creating unique, inspiring spaces that feel just right. Her style seamlessly combines modern furniture, art and objects with fresh ideas, all sprinkled with a touch of vintage charm.

From the first concept to the finishing touches, Cara combines her creative flair with practical details to craft interiors that are both stunning and liveable. She is adept at transforming client briefs into unique design concepts, thanks to her relaxed demeanour and solutions focused approach.

OLIVIA MARSDEN
LEAD DESIGNER

Olivia leads the design process with a refined aesthetic and a deep understanding of the Simone Haag design language. Known for her calm and considered approach, she ensures every selection aligns with the broader creative vision.

Having supported both the Director and senior team across a diverse range of projects, Olivia brings confidence, care, and clarity to every stage, from concept development through to final specification.

With a talent for visual storytelling, she brings ideas to life through compelling presentations and detailed design documentation.

HANNAH WATT
CLIENT EXPERIENCE & PROCUREMENT

With a background in Interior Architecture and over six years in residential design and studio operations, Hannah leverages extensive experience within award-winning multidisciplinary design practices to manage procurement, coordination and seamless end-to-end project delivery. Hannah supports the team across all stages of a project, bringing an organised, considered and collaborative approach to ensure each project is delivered with care and attention to detail.

INDIA BAKER
DESIGN & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

With a background in Graphic Design and Media from ACU and a longstanding passion for interiors, India brings a creative eye and a hands-on approach to the Simone Haag studio.

Supporting the team across all facets of the design process - from logistics and sample sourcing to palette development - India plays a vital role in keeping projects moving with efficiency and care.

With a focus on being a reliable and resourceful presence, she is dedicated to assisting both the team and clients with warmth, adaptability, and attention to detail.

PHILLIP BOUFFLER
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

With over 20 years of experience in the Architecture and Interior Design industries, Phillip combines financial expertise with a deep appreciation for the creative process. Backed by an MBA and a strong foundation in business finance, he brings a unique perspective to financial leadership within creative environments.

Rooted in architectural studies and driven by a lifelong passion for design, Phillip has cultivated a career where numbers meet nuance — where financial accuracy, forecasting, and operational oversight are delivered with both precision and creativity.

Phillip brings clarity and control to every project — from overseeing furniture procurement to tracking total project finances. He ensures that the numbers not only add up but also align with the client’s overall expectations.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Aaron assists with maintaining our processes and procedures, ensuring they are best practice and on-point. With 15+ years project management experience and a wellspring of operational knowledge forged at some of the world’s most prestigious financial institutions, Aaron’s insights have helped shape how we work and how we interact with clients and suppliers.

As a champion of organisational effectiveness and operational excellence, Aaron works closely with the team to optimise performance, drive outcomes and ensure the best possible client experience.

NATASHA ALLEN
MEDIA RELATIONS MANAGER

Throughout her media career Natasha has forged enduring relationships with the world’s best creatives and brokered profitable editorial collaborations including most recently at Vogue Living and The Australian’s Travel+Luxury magazine.

Within the wider design industry – from advertising to architecture, print to pixel-publishing - she is respected as a quiet visionary who can cut through the cultural ether with campaigns and concepts that stick, sell and rouse the most cynical of souls.

She joins the team as Media Relations Manager, to oversee the media and digital presence of this high-end Interior Styling Studio.
