A referral by architect, Simon Couchman gave us the opportunity to work on this refined beachside project for a client in his later years. We were commissioned to design and procure all the elements for his summer home, a comprehensive service that he very much welcomed.

Cliff Top House sits on a sentimental piece of land that has been in our client’s family for many years. He sought an interior that would defer to the beautiful view and also be compelling in its simplicity and elegance. We specifically avoided a predictable beachy aesthetic, opting instead to focus on pieces with Australian and Japanese influence, with the latter being a nod to the humility and quality the client desired. Paper-thin lighting elements and dreamy Australian photographic landscapes are contrasted with solid furniture pieces and unique vintage finds.

"As an accountant, I am on the more conservative side when it comes to design and  I thus entrusted my entire home to Simone and her team. They expertly guided me through every decision. Every piece is perfect in respecting the architecture and the view and collectively they all come together to create such a warm and beautiful home. I couldnt be more thrilled with the result."
