Light well house is the personal home of Simone and her family. A modernist gem designed by Architect Ian J Smith in 1972 located in Melbourne’s leafy east. The home is a canvas for Simone’s collection of furniture, object, and art. This is the space she effortlessly combines Vintage Italian pieces, Tribal chic and flea market finds.

The home, whilst in original condition – has a contemporary sensibility, testament to the timelessness of mid-century architecture. Artworks within the home come from far and wide, with vintage tapestry from the Netherlands adjacent to metallic 3d works by Galia Gluckman. The house will continue to be an experimental space where pieces will come (and go) never static, always shifting.

“Simone has an unrivalled eye for the eclectic and she has a knack for making every room look just perfect.  She seems to be able to lift spaces effortlessly with a combination of furnishings and objects in a beguiling way. I must say that her home is one of the finest I’ve ever had the privilege of visiting.”
